On Saturday morning, the Wicomico County Department of Emergency Services dispatched Station 6 for a tree into the wires in the 7500 block of Jones Hastings Road. Rescue Engine 6 responded with a crew of 4 with Deputy Chief 6. Upon arrival, crews found a tree fallen into cable lines. Deputy Chief 6 established the Jones Hastings Road command. The road was temporarily closed until the arrival of Verizon. Parsonsburg units cleared a short time later.

On Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 13:20 hours, Rescue Engine 6 was dispatched for an Engine transfer to Salisbury Station 1 as their units operated on a residential structure fire. Rescue Engine 6 responded at 13:21 hours with a crew of 4 with Chief 6. Minutes after arriving at Station 1, the Incident Commander sounded the 2nd alarm, bringing Rescue Engine 6 as the second due Engine to the scene as well as Tanker 6. The crew from Rescue Engine 6 assisted with fire suppression as the Rescue Engine supplied water to the fire scene. Situation was placed under control at 14:32 hours. Rescue Engine 6 cleared the call at 17:15 hours
