For the first time in the history of the Parsonsburg Fire Dept., Captain Whittington had the opportunity to attend the 2007 Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis, IN. This conference had over 27,000 Firefighters from all over the US present. Many activities went on through out the week. Of these include- very beneficial classroom sessions, hundreds of exhibits including, new firefighting technology, and the unveiling of the new ‘PUC,’ which is the name of the new Pierce Engine. If you or your department are able to send several persons from your station it is well worth it.
