Parsonsburg Firefighters Train With New Equipment - Parsonsburg, Maryland

On Wednesday July 18, 2007, members of the Parsonsburg Vol. Fire Co. conducted a 2 part drill. We first went out to "Credit Plus" on Winterplace Pkwy. for a fire hazard survey tour and then headed back to Station 6 for training on the new Hurst Mini Cutter, Hurst Rabbit Tool, and the new Paratech Rescue Struts. After using the new equipment, we proceeded to paractice roof and door removal with the Spreaders, Cutter, and Combination Tool and then used the rams to do a dash roll. The Parsonsburg Vol. Fire Co. Cadets also attended the training and were also able to get some experience using the tools.
