In the late afternoon on Thursday September 06, 2007, Station 74 - Delmar was operating on the scene of a working apartment fire when they were alerted for a second call at the intersection of Route 13 and Stage Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Rescue. Delmar Fire Chief Joe Morris, Jr. requested that Station 6 - Parsonsburg and Station 16 - Salisbury be alerted to handle the second call. Paramedic B74 responded along with Rescue Engine 604 and Rescue 16. Crews arrived to find a T-Bone type accident with entrapment. The crew from Paramedic B74 initiated patient care and upon their arrival, the crews from Rescue 16 and Rescue Engine 604 worked to flap the roof and pop the doors. EMS units from Station 81 - Laurel, DE and from Station 16 were also on location. 616 had command. After clearing the accident scene, Rescue Engine 604 was transferred to Station 74 for cover-up.
