The Wicomico County Volunteer Firefighters Association held its annual banquet on Saturday October 06, 2007 at Station 74 Delmar. Each fire department in Wicomico County was represented and County Executive Rick Pollitt, members of the Wicomico County Council, and our local representatives in the Maryland House of Delegates were also present. The highlight of the evening was County Executive Pollitt and members of the County Council presenting each department with its annual appropriations from the county. A special Thank You goes to the members of Delmar Fire Department for hosting the banquet and providing a great meal and to our local government for their continued support.
