Firefighters Brave Near Zero Windchill - At Trash Fire On Arvey Road

After first being alerted for a smoke investigation, crews found the remains of a demolished chicken house being burned. At the request of the County Health Department, the fire had to be extinguished. Crews from Pittsville (Sta.7), Powellville (Sta.11), & Salisbury (Sta.1) were called in non-emergency to assist. Lt. J.T. Tyler (620) had Arvey Road Command. Units On Scene: E605, RE604, E607(@ Draft on Shavox Rd.), T608, Br606, Comm 6, E703, T1101, E1-1, Sta.6 Fire Police.
