Around 1330 hrs, Parsonsburg & Pittsville were alerted for an MVC with entrapment on Eastbound Rt.50 near the Walston Switch Rd. intersection. Station 6 personnel arrived on scene to find a van off the road into a tree with 1 trapped. Deputy Chief J.T. Tyler established command and requested the next due engine company for additional staffing. Central alerted Salisbury Engine 1 for the assist. Upon extrication, PMB6 transported a Priority 1 trauma arrest to PRMC and PMA6 transported a priority 2 catagory C trauma patient to PRMC. Crews remained on scene assisting with traffic control and cleaning up debris and a small fuel spill. Units on Scene: Parsonsburg - Deputy Chief 6, RE604, PMA6, PMB6, Command 6, & TC6. Pittsville - Rescue 7 Salisbury - Engine 1 MSp, SHA, & Wicomico Sheriff's Dept. also on scene.
