Station 6 units responded to a reported wood chipper on fire in the 33000 block of Middleton Rd., smoke was visible from the firehouse. Upon arrival, Command (616-V. Webster, JR) immediately requested the assistance of Station 7 (Pittsville) due to extension to the wood chips. Once the fire was brought under control, the area was assessed and the call was upgraded to a HazMat due to the release of diesel fuel and hydraulic fluid.
