An evening crash resulted in 1 patient being transported to the hospital. Around 16:03 this evening, Parsonsburg Fire/EMS & Pittsville EMS we're alerted to respond to an MVC with rollover on Ocean Gateway West Bound prior to Forest Grove Road. RE-604 arrived to find a single vehicle MVC with 1 patient and Deputy Chief 6-V. Webster Jr. established command of the incident. Parsonsburg and Pittsville EMS units arrived and treated the patient. Pittsville EMS transported 1 patient to PRMC. The crew of Rescue Engine 604 assisted with patient care and then secured the vehicle. Station 6 Fire Police handles traffic control while the fast lane was diverted over to the slow lane. Maryland State Police was also on scene to handle the investigation.
