On Monday, November 27, 2006, at 1147 hours, Wicomico E.O.C. alerted Stations 1, 6, & 16 for a reported MVA with rescue at Ocean Gateway & Hobbs Road- East Bound. 20-I (Lt. Larry Dodd) & 619 (Capt. Ryan Whittington) arrived on scene at 1150 hours to find a white Cadillac with one person still inside the vehicle. Engine 1-1 arrived on scene and preformed a door pop. Rescue Engine 604 arrived on scene with 617 (Asst. Chief David Brimer) as officer. 20-I placed them available. Rescue 16 was cancelled prior to their arrival. Salisbury Paramedic 2, transported one patient to PRMC. Parsonsburg EMS handled two patient refusals. 20-I placed situation under control and terminated command shortly after. Units Responding: 20-I, 6-19, Engine 1-1, Rescue Engine 604, Assistant Chief 1, PM 2, DC 1, MSP, WCSD, Station 6 Fire Police.
