Assist Salisbury on MVC with Rescue - Johnson Road - Station 1's First Due

At 1920 hours, Stations 1, 16, & 6 were alerted for an MVC with injuries and rescue in the area of 31822 Johnson Road, between Airport and Mt. Olive Roads, in Station 1's first due. Rescue Engine 604 responded with 617 (A/C E.Tyler) and a crew of 6. Assistant Chief 1 (A/C Bryan Records) was first on the scene confirming a working rescue and only one patient. A/C 1 established "Johnson Road Command." Engine 1 soon arrived and went to work with their tool until Rescue 16 arrived. Command advised of a priority 1 patient with an extended extrication.. Upon their arrival, RE 604's crew was directed to the scene to assist with rescue ops. Within a few minutes, the patient was freed and loaded into Paramedic 1 and transported to PRMC. Traffic Control 6 was on the scene and assisted by closing down Johnson Road to the West of the scene. Once all equipment was picked up, Command released RE 604 at 1953 hours but held TC 6 until the scene was cleared by all units at 2210 hours.
