The Pocomoke Firefighters Muster Association held its second annual Firefighters Muster on Sunday October 14, 2007 in downtown Pocomoke, MD. This was Parsonsburg's first trip to Pocomoke for the muster after having competed many years in Salisbury. This years competition was between us and the mens and ladies teams from Pocomoke Vol. Fire Co. Parsonsburg firefighters took home a 1st place trophy for the standpipe pump contest and we were also awarded the "Willie R. Sharpley Sportsmanship Trophy." We would like to congratulate the Pocomoke Ladies Team on winning overall first place and thank The Pocomoke Firefighters Muster Association, The Pocomoke Vol. Fire Co., and The City of Pocomoke, MD for organizing this event. We look forward to next year!
