On Monday evening, Parsonsburg firefighters went down to Winterplace Park to conduct training on the new SCBA that was recently purchased with the funding from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant. Crews trained on RIT operations inside a large area, using their Nomex hoods as blindfolds. Once the training was complete, the new SCBA were placed in service. With the new Scott Airpack 75's in service on Rescue Engine 604 and Engine 605, all of the Airpack 50's are on the remaining apparatus and all of the low pressure 2.2's are being removed from service.
