On Wednesday October 16th at Approximately 2030 hours, the new B6 was placed in service. The new unit is a 2013 Ford F450 4x2 chassis with a Horton box featuring all LED lighting and is painted red to match the fire apparatus. B6 has been approved by the MIEMSS Seal of Excellence program as an ALS transport unit. The ambulance was purchased from Fesco Emergency Sales in Elkridge, MD and was lettered by Ham Parlett.
