Shortly before 4:30 in the afternnon, Parsonsburg Fire & EMS was dispatched for a motor vehicle collision with rollover on Morris Leonard Road just East of Holt Road. Units were advised of a single vehicle involved with one patient out of the car. However, personnel arrived to find that the patient was still in the car and that the car was on its side in the large tax ditch in about 3 feet of water. The patient was conscious and alert and was able to self extricate with assistance from firefighters and the use of ground ladders. Parsonsburg EMS treated the patient and transported to PRMC while the fire crew contained and cleaned up a fuel leak in the water.
